Commerce City Auto Dealerships, New Cars and Vacation Destinations

This last weekend, Memorial Day weekend, kicked off the official start of summer, the time of year when American pack their bags and find a vacation destination. And while many will board airplanes and fly to exotic locations, many of your will hop in your car and drive to your dream vacation spot here in the United States.

But before you drop one suitcase in the trunk of your car, you might want to consider buying a new car first. After all, your car has thousands of miles and could break down at the worst possible time; right in the middle of the highway in the middle of your vacation.

After you have scoured your Commerce City auto dealerships and bought your new car, it is time to plan that summer getaway. If you are having a difficult time finding a worthy destination, we have a few ideas.

Austin, Texas

If you are into really good music, then Austin is your dream city. In addition to the Austin City Limits summer music festival, the city boasts several live music events, many of them that won’t put a big dent in your wallet.

In addition, you won;t go hungry as Austin is home to several restaurants serving Tex-Mex food and margaritas.

Boulder, Colorado

Even if you live in Colorado, take off of work for a few days and hang out in Boulder. Boulder has a vibrant nightlife and plenty of shopping at the pedestrian-friendly Pearl Street Mall.

If you are feeling the need to get some fresh air, the best way to see the city and the outskirts is via a bike that you can rent from any number of shops.

Seattle, Washington

Up in the upper left corner of the map of the United States is Seattle, Washington. You might think of Seattle as the city of grunge music where it rains a lot. And you would be partly right in that assessment, but there is much more to the city than hippies wearing shorts and flannel shirts.

Head up to the top of the Space Needle on a cloudless day and enjoy views in every direction for endless miles. At sunset, ride the Seattle Great Wheel, the largest such wheel on the West Coast.

Seattle and coffee go together like, well, Seattle and grunge music. In addition to Starbucks, Seattle boasts plenty of coffee shops that take their craft seriously.

Minneapolis-St. Paul, Minnesota

The twin cities are quite diverse and the place to be this summer. You will find upscale dining, great lodging and dozens of trails and green space you can enjoy if you choose this as your summer vacation destination.

From cozy small town celebrations to one of the largest state fairs in the nation, there is an event or two or more that you will want to go and enjoy.

And when you get hungry, go and enjoy a savory dish from one of the local food trucks. When you get thirsty, enjoy a local craft beer.

Wherever you decide to vacation this summer, drive there in a reliable car.
